Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology Location : Kelvin Grove, Brisbane, Queensland Remuneration: $134,910 – $160,222 pa (LEVB) (salary $114,000 – $135,390 + 17% super + 17.5% recreation leave loading) or $165,273 – $190,593 pa (LEVC) (salary $139,657 – $161,054 + super and leave loading) Employment type: Full-time About the role We are seeking a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology to join the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Faculty of Health. This role contributes to academic and clinical teaching, curriculum development, clinical supervision, and research aligned with the School's priorities. Qualifications Completion of a doctoral qualification in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a closely related discipline; alternatively, a completed postgraduate qualification in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory or exercise physiology. Current ESSA AEP accreditation. Experience designing and delivering learning activities in Clinical Exercise Physiology, with capability in curriculum and assessment development. Evidence of contemporary clinical experience as an AEP across relevant domains (e.g., musculoskeletal, metabolic, cardiorespiratory) and ability to supervise students in clinical / practicum settings. Developing research track record demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications commensurate with career stage, and potential to develop an independent research program and attract funding. Ability to build and maintain clinical networks / industry partnerships that enhance student placements and / or graduate outcomes. Senior Lecturer (Level C) additional qualifications Completion of a doctoral qualification with a sustained profile of clinical exercise rehabilitation scholarship. Current ESSA AEP accreditation and active engagement with ESSA professional standards. Record of teaching excellence and innovation and experience in curriculum development related to Clinical Exercise Physiology. Evidence of contemporary clinical experience as an AEP across relevant domains and capacity to lead clinical supervision / placement models. High-quality research track record demonstrated through quality publications, success in securing competitive / external / industry funding or successful HDR supervisions. Demonstrated ability to establish and lead partnerships with health services, community or industry enhancing placements, research translation and / or graduate outcomes.
