Pacific Solaris a National Commercial Solar company, specialising in medium to large scale commercial rooftop solar installations on warehouse developments for major developers & construction companies nationwide. The role: Complete detailed Commercial Solar System designs on AutoCAD from initial concept through to completion of As Built documentation. Complete technical Electrical Design documentation for large scale Commercial Solar Systems & submit online applications to Distributor (DNSP) Connection applications. Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for Commercial Solar Power systems. Assist the Management team to prepare Government Rebate claims (Small Scale STC Rebates) + (Large Scale LGC Rebates) >> FULL Training Provided. Assist the Engineering team to prepare Preliminary Commercial Solar Designs (Pylon Design Tool) >> FULL Training Provided. Assist the Engineering team to prepare Preliminary (Commercial) Solar Quote Estimates (excel) >> FULL Training Provided. Complete Electrical Cable Calculations + Protection Coordination Studies for both AC & DC designs. About you: Demonstrated experience and ability as a Solar PV Engineer in the solar/electrical industry for the Australian Market (Minimum 2 years). Sound Technical knowledge of Commercial Solar Regulations for Australian Standards & Regulations. (Training options offered ) High Level Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools + Process Management tools (Asana) will be highly regarded. Expert level of skills in AutoCAD design of Commercial Solar Designs (essential). Knowledge of Distributor (DNSP) Connection processes in Australia. Previous experience & technical knowledge will be highly regarded. Strong organisational skills to build and manage processes. Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team. Respond promptly to all engineering support requests from staff. A suitable level of English conversational skills so you will be comfortable to make calls & join video meetings with our Australian based team + Partners, Clients & Advisors.
