Opportunity Join the Maroochydore team as an Exercise Scientist, a role dedicated to educating and supervising our clients on the training floor to achieve long-term health outcomes through strength training. Responsibilities Actively engage on the training floor by conducting 1:1 and group sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients Apply scientific concepts (biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, motor control) and evidence-based practices to support clients Provide evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performance Develop and implement exercise prescriptions and plans for clients Establish, assess, and reassess goals for new and long-term clients Guide athletes or clients with fitness goals to achieve peak performance and recover from injury Complete a range of administrative duties Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards Required Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Exercise/Sports Science or related discipline where at least 2 of the following units have been completed: Physiology & Anatomy Biomechanics/Human Movement Exercise Programming/Prescription OR currently undertaking third year (or subsequent) of study in Bachelor of Physiotherapy Relevant placement/practicum learning regarding Exercise Prescription Valid working rights in Australia First Aid & CPR Certification Working with Children Check National Police Check Desirable 1+ years relevant work experience Previous private practice experience Previous experience with long term management of client outcomes in a strength training environment Additional Benefits Complimentary access to our strength and conditioning facility + concessional fees for family members Comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development Career pathways within Kieser Wellbeing Program 1 day of Recharge Leave and a half day of Birthday Leave An unbeatable team culture, fun working environment and social events 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers Up to $1500 annual PD allowance Leadership Program for aspiring leaders Diversity & Inclusion We value inclusion and diversity and are committed to creating a safe, confident, and celebratory work environment.
