Assistants - Visual Merchandising (South & Southeast Melbourne) Join Our Team as a Christmas Floral Merchandising Assistant Are you passionate about fresh flowers and looking to spread some holiday cheer? Our client, Australia's largest supplier of fresh flowers, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist our lead visual merchandising team in creating stunning Christmas displays in major supermarkets across The Outer East, South & South East Melbourne Position Overview: As a Floral Merchandising Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced merchandisers to set up beautiful fresh floral stands that attract customers during the busy holiday season. Key Responsibilities: Transport flower stock from the loading area to display areas Assemble and arrange display stands for optimal presentation Ensure flower bunches are properly placed in water Carry out cleaning and tidying tasks as directed Most shifts will involve setting up 4-5 stores and last between 5-7 hours Start times are around 6:00 AM Available shifts: Saturday, December 20th; Monday, December 22nd; and Tuesday, December 23rd Areas We're Serving: Mornington East Hampton Park Officer Knox Chirnside Who We're Looking For: We want reliable, motivated, and well-presented individuals who thrive in a retail environment. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential, as you'll be interacting with both team members and customers. Requirements: Own transportation is necessary for traveling between stores during your assigned route Must be physically fit and able to lift and move items weighing up to 10 kg Compensation: In addition to a competitive hourly pay rate, you will receive a travel allowance for each kilometre travelled.
