Speech Pathologist Melbourne Central Aged Care Contractor/Consulting - $85 per hour Pick and choose your flexible shifts around your existing commitments. Australian Health Professionals is expanding in VIC, offering an attractive contractor position with freedom to structure and organise when you attend to referrals. Your roster is flexible and designed to work around your current commitments and lifestyle. The Role Attend to AHP monthly residential aged care referrals in Melbourne. Provide services aimed at improving communication, cognitive functioning, swallowing, language, articulation disorders and social skills. In addition, provide safe swallowing strategies to clients and carers and educate clients on appropriate swallowing technique. Contractor shifts available between Monday and Friday. Work as little as one shift per month. Annual leave cover available between 18th December and 11th January. Start date: ASAP, November, December, or when you are available. Location: CBD - 3205, 3053. Rate: $85 per hour contractor (ABN). No individual KPIs. No minimum shift requirements. Free CPD educational sessions held monthly for all employees. Work with a multidisciplinary team – become part of our national clinical team, grow your professional contacts. About AHP Aged Care/Allied Health AHP Allied Health is a leading provider of allied health services across community retirement villages, independent living units, and residential aged care homes. Our skilled team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech therapists, podiatrists, and more, all working collaboratively to enhance the overall care provided to residents. Requirements Qualified Speech Pathologist – Certified Practising Member. Able to attend the referrals in-person. National Police Check (within the last two years). NDIS Workers Check (Can apply through AHP). COVID X3 Vaccinations (2 vaccinations + 1 booster). Experience working with elderly community/aged care.
