Program Overview Lead the environmental and land management program for a large, multi-site property portfolio. Oversees a diverse environmental landscape that includes bushfire mitigation and biodiversity impact management. Builds team maturity and takes carriage of key client consultation and strategic advice. As a national provider of infrastructure and facility services, this organisation partners with a diverse range of government and critical industries to deliver sustainable, safe and community-minded outcomes. Following the award of a long-term services contract supporting one of Australia’s most complex property portfolios, they are in the process of building their environmental leadership capability to guide land stewardship, compliance and ecological risk management across a diverse, multi-site footprint. About the role As the Regional Environmental Manager, you will provide senior technical and people leadership for environmental land obligations across multiple sites and a large geographic area. The role focuses on establishing and embedding land management frameworks and assuring delivery of program such as bushfire mitigation, feral animal control and ecological risk management while also advising senior internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Act as the subject matter expert for land management planning and environmental compliance across a large, multi-site area. Lead bushfire mitigation programs, ecological risk controls and oversee land and heritage management; drive land health initiatives such as biodiversity impact management and feral animal control. Engage key client stakeholders and internal executives on key outcomes and planning, providing assurance, reporting and strategic execution. About you You are a technically strong and grounded environmental or land management leader who thrives in leading the build and development of semi-greenfield frameworks and evolving environments. You bring credibility, practicality and maturity when balancing outcomes with operational delivery across diverse landscapes. Qualifications Experience in environmental or land management roles across complex, multi-site estates or infrastructure portfolios. Demonstrated leadership experience and hands‑on approach to developing teams and uplifting capability. A broad technical toolkit in areas that may include bushfire mitigation and ecological risk programs, with a strong legislative understanding. A balanced mindset and the capability to lead environmental and management outcomes with a practical, delivery‑focused approach.
