Principal Transmission Line Engineer Beca invites applications for a Principal Transmission Line Engineer. We deliver innovative technical solutions to clients in high‑voltage power generation, transmission and distribution, and in some of Australia’s largest transmission projects help build the backbone of the network and enable renewable energy zones. Opportunity We need a Principal Transmission Line Engineer to support our growing power team in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. You will act as a technical leader, delivering transmission‑line engineering projects and contributing to the broader power business. In This Role, You Will Lead transmission‑line engineering projects technically. Work closely with clients to understand project briefs and technical requirements. Formulate design solutions for transmission projects ranging from 66 kV to 500 kV. Proactively implement innovative solutions. Mentor and support the wider transmission‑design team. About You You are a seasoned engineer with a strong foundation in transmission‑line design and a passion for mentoring others. You bring a broad set of skills that allow you to contribute across the power business and are comfortable leading technical delivery and engaging with clients. Proven experience delivering robust and innovative power‑engineering designs. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. In‑depth understanding of engineering disciplines, regulations, policies and procedures. Project‑management experience and the ability to integrate complex systems. Knowledge and experience in PLS‑CAD or TOWER – essential. Ability to develop innovative design solutions for 66 kV‑500 kV transmission projects.
