Details about the Client We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Japanese Speaking Project Coordinator on behalf of our client, a Japanese governmental organisation, to support their Business Development team in delivering key initiatives focused on Japan-Australia/New Zealand business collaboration. Employment Type: Temporary Contract Period: 22 September 2025 – Friday, 31 March 2026 Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) Work Location: Office-based (Sydney) Note: Occasional weekend work, overtime, or business travel may be required depending on project or event needs. Description Key Responsibilities: Provide operational support for business development initiatives, including:Assisting Japanese companies with market entry and business matching in Australia and New Zealand Supporting Australian/NZ companies with investment opportunities in Japan Facilitating collaboration between Japanese and local companies Coordinate communications with clients and stakeholders, including:Japanese and Australian/NZ companies across various industries (e.g., manufacturers, importers, retailers, startups) Government agencies such as Austrade, state governments, and Japanese institutions Liaise with the head office in Japan regarding project execution Assist with administrative tasks such as internal procedures and expense processing Candidate's Profile Requirements: Language Skills: Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written) Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and cloud-based tools Travel: Domestic and international travel may be required Job Offer Please submit your complete application through the online application platform.
