The Role Are you a hands‑on Solution Architect with a software development background who enjoys working closely with clients to design and deliver digital transformation solutions? We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in Melbourne (hybrid), where you'll play a key role in both architecture and client engagement/presales. We’re looking for someone with broad experience across the Microsoft ecosystem – from .NET and Azure through to M365, SharePoint or PowerPlatform (rather than deep specialisation in any one product area). You’ll have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients, projects and technologies – become part of our team to make a significant impact and advance your career. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of application and enterprise‑level solutions (such as COTS solutions, .NET applications, mobile applications, M365, Azure etc). Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools and frameworks to optimise architecture and delivery. Collaborate with clients, business analysts and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, secure and sustainable designs. Identify risks and mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Produce high‑quality architectural documentation and design artefacts. Work closely with the sales team to support presales activities. Skills and Experience Requirements A background in software development and 5+ years in solution architecture. Broad experience across the Microsoft stack – .NET, Azure and M365 – with exposure to technologies such as Power Platform and SharePoint desirable. Proven ability to deliver complex enterprise solutions in a consulting environment. Presales experience and confidence engaging directly with clients and stakeholders. Strong understanding of architecture principles, design patterns and modern cloud‑native approaches. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Expertise in designing solutions with a focus on architectural integrity, scalability and security. Broad knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack such as .NET development, Azure, M365 and related technologies. Excellent understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns and industry best practices.
