Medical Reception | Urgent Care | Casual Superstar We are looking for an experienced, positive, patient focused, agile Casual Medical Receptionist who enjoys working in fast paced Urgent Care clinics. Are you looking for a varied, flexible role and have availability to pickup shifts at short notice at our three Urgent Care Clinics - Sandringham, Prahran and Frankston? This role is specifically for an experienced Medical Receptionist to provide casual, 2 - 3 short notice shifts per week, and must be able to work in all three locations - Sandringham, Prahran and Frankston. About us SACC operates the Urgent Care Clinics at Sandringham Hospital, Prahran and Frankston; health pathways and a private medical practice. We are embedded in the Bayside community and have a team of passionate clinical and non-clinical staff. Designed to take pressure off hospital Emergency Departments, our Urgent Care Clinics sees a high volume of walk-in patients, so our medical receptionists play a vitally important role in the overall patient experience. Responsibilities First point of contact for patients and families Patient bookings over the phone Patient registration including collecting important data for the service Triage and support to clinical team Requirements and Attributes Must have prior experience working Medical Reception- General Practice. Preferably experience using software package Best Practice Strong focus on administration and concierge Excellent customer service skills and can remain calm under pressure Patient-focused and adaptable Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work in different locations and varied teams - 2 to 3 shifts per week Flexible availability to pick up shifts at short notice at all three locations - morning and afternoon shifts 7 days a week Permanent Australian residents or hold a current, valid working visa Current National Police Check Valid Working with Children Check Benefits Rewarding and varied role Friendly, supportive work environment Being part of a fantastic team Making a positive difference to the community Casual rates Mon-Friday and weekend rates of pay What Next?
