Manager, Employment & Payroll Advisory (Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney) Join Alvarez & Marsal as a Manager in our Employment & Payroll Advisory practice. We support clients in ensuring their workers are paid correctly and efficiently, while complying with all employer obligations. About the Role and Team A&M's Employment and Payroll Advisory practice is part of the People Services team. We bring together employment relations, payroll, taxation and data analytics expertise. Responsibilities Partner with clients to assess payroll operations, identify risks and implement system enhancements and process improvements. Support M&A transactions: manage the employment-related aspects of payroll due diligence, uncover risks, quantify exposures, and prepare actionable reports. Assist clients with payroll and superannuation remediation, managing stakeholder relationships, impacted employees, and regulators (Fair Work Ombudsman, Australian Taxation Office). Qualifications Proven experience in a Payroll or ER Advisory role. Prior exposure to M&A and due diligence work highly favoured. Consulting experience, particularly in payroll advisory, ER, transformation or system implementation. Technically astute, commercially minded, personable, and a positive team player with EQ.
