The Role This is a pivotal National Work Health & Safety Manager role, responsible for leading and uplifting WHS practices across multiple sites nationally. Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with HR, L&D and operational leaders, you will play a key role in shaping safety strategy, driving continuous improvement, and influencing safety culture at all levels of the organisation. Based at the South‑West Sydney Head Office, this role offers strong visibility across the business and meaningful exposure to the Executive Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation and oversight of the national WHS framework Own and manage internal WHS audit programs and drive continuous improvement initiatives Translate audit findings and incident data into practical, preventative safety actions Partner with leaders across the business to embed safety accountability and culture Oversee investigation of incidents, hazards and near misses across all sites nationally Act as the primary point of contact with SafeWork NSW and other regulators for reportable matters Deliver regular WHS reporting, insights and recommendations to senior leadership Conduct and review risk assessments, ensuring WHS registers and documentation remain current and compliant Support capability uplift through coaching, training and engagement initiatives About You Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) 10+ years experience in a broad WHS role with national or multi‑site exposure Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks A proactive, pragmatic approach with the confidence to influence at all levels Experience working with HRIS / WHS systems and reporting tools Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, educate and influence stakeholders Additional Information Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: General Business Industries: Medical Equipment Manufacturing and Retail; Health and Personal Care Products If you’re ready to step into a nationally impactful safety leadership role and be part of a business that truly cares about its people, we’d love to hear from you.
