Our clubs cover weights, cardio, swimming, dance, boxing, cycling, and more, fostering an inclusive community that encourages and empowers everyone. The Role As a Member Services Officer, you are the heart of our business. You will provide sales, reception and merchandising services to members, casual users, and potential new members, following our operational routines and procedures. The role involves prospecting, touring, closing, and generating referrals for future sales. You will actively seek new business, representing the club and Genesis professionally. Primary responsibility: acquire new members and deliver first‑class customer service in line with our Mission, Vision and Values. You will achieve individual and team goals and targets set with the Assistant Club Manager and Club Manager. Key Responsibilities Passion for fitness Provide excellent customer service in person and over the telephone Apply sound cash‑handling principals and use of Point‑of‑Sale systems Promote club services and programs and accept bookings and enrolments Previous experience in a similar position Excellent communication skills Hold current First Aid & CPR certification Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check Qualifications Previous experience in fitness, sales, customer service or a retail environment is highly advantageous. Friendly attitude and customer‑service mindset are encouraged.
