Overview dnata Adelaide Airport, South Australia, Australia Join our dynamic dnata catering team at Adelaide Airport as a full-time Customer Delivery Driver and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service in the aviation industry. As a member of our airside team, you are the face of dnata catering out on the tarmac and are responsible for loading catering onto the aircraft. You will load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks and drive a short distance to the aircraft. Once airside, you will guide the vehicle for a safe approach, load the carts onto the aircraft, and work with the airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct. You will also remove any empty carts before heading back to our catering facility. Responsibilities Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including refuelling. Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on. Guide and position the trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies. Communicate and coordinate with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over. Coordinate with dispatch aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations. Administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties as required. Qualifications Clean MR or HR driver's license required. Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks. Safety First Mindset, always be aware of surroundings, practice proper techniques per our company standard training Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential. Good verbal and written communication skills. Neat and tidy presentation. As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
