Leading Australian Software Development firm requires a Vendor & Contracts Manager for a 6 Month contract based in North Sydney to start work in November. As the Vendor & Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all third‑party vendor relationships and commercial agreements for a major technology transformation initiative. Reporting to the Program Director, you’ll be responsible for ensuring vendor performance, governance and value delivery across the program. Daily you will: Managing the full vendor lifecycle, from selection and onboarding through to contract renewal and offboarding. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and KPIs. Monitoring vendor performance and maintaining dashboards to track delivery, risk, and value. Partnering with internal stakeholders (IT, Procurement, Legal, and Business) to ensure alignment with program objectives. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, data security, and governance standards. Driving clear communication and continuous improvement across vendor partnerships. To succeed in this role, you will: Be a commercially astute contract or procurement professional who thrives in complex, technology‑driven environments. Hold a relevant Degree with proven experience in procurement, contract, or vendor management. Bring demonstrated success delivering outcomes across large‑scale, multi‑phase technology programs. Possess strong expertise in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), financial analysis, negotiation, and vendor performance optimisation. Excel at building trusted relationships and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Take a proactive, detail‑driven approach to governance, compliance, and delivery excellence Public transport consisting of Buses, Metro & Trains is only a 5 Minute walk away.
