About the role In this rewarding role, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of older Australians by supporting them to continue living independently in the comfort of their own homes. As part of your role, you will assist with: Accessing the community – shopping, activities, and appointments Personal cares, including showering and self‑care Domestic assistance Supporting mobility and transfers Assisting with medication Providing meaningful companionship and social support, helping clients feel connected and live a fulfilling life at home About you You’re passionate about empowering older Australians to maintain their independence and live confidently in their own homes. You bring empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills, along with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. In addition, you will have: Certificate III in Aged, Community, or Disability Care Flexibility to work a minimum of three weekdays per week between 8AM-6PM Previous experience working as a community support worker is highly desired, but not essential Excellent communication skills, including literacy and numeracy skills A current Driver’s License A roadworthy vehicle registered in WA and covered by Third‑Party/Comprehensive insurance National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months) About the benefits You’ll become part of an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming Western Australian organisation passionately committed to making a meaningful impact in the local community.
