You will partner closely with Regional School General Managers and educational leadership teams to deliver high-quality financial advice, insights, reporting, and forward-looking strategic guidance that supports decision-making and long-term school planning. What You Will Do Lead, coach, and develop the South/East Regional Finance team to deliver high-quality support to all schools in the region. Build strong and credible relationships with South/East regional and school leadership teams across primary, secondary, and specialist schools. Provide strategic and proactive financial advice to support informed decision-making and long-term sustainability. Deliver regular finance updates, briefings, and leadership direction to schools and stakeholders across the region. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, period-end reporting, and year-end processes for the South/East region. Provide actionable insights using financial and non-financial data to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities. Lead development and oversight of long-term financial plans for the South/East region. Support benchmarking initiatives and continuous improvement activities across schools. Conduct school visits to provide leadership, coaching, and guidance on financial matters. Act as an escalation point for complex school financial management issues. Assist with onboarding new schools and integrating finance processes. Lead and support finance-related change initiatives, including systems and policy improvements. About You Significant experience leading high-performing finance or business partnering teams. Strong expertise in financial management, reporting, analysis, and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Proven ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments; education/NFP experience desirable. Ability to provide timely, strategic, and clear financial advice. Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Business with CPA or CA essential.
