Jalygurr- Guwan Early Year's Learning is currently recruiting Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. We are seeking highly motivated and passionate educator with great communication skills, a love for Early Childhood education and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with families, staff and especially our children. This role will be allocated to our 31/2 age group to 5 years age group. Who is Jalygurr- Guwan Early Years Learning Centre? Jalygurr- Guwan Early Years Learning Centre has been providing Long Day Care, Out of School Hours Care and Regional Children’s Service Mobile Playgroup for over 30 years in Broome. We are committed to delivering high quality early childhood education that enhances the cultural, physical, social, emotional, language and learning development of the children utilising our service. What the role looks like : Encouraging and nurturing children to grow socially, emotionally while instilling a cultural love of learning through a range of culturally appropriate strategies and activities. Working together with Educators to develop a program that meets the needs of the individual children and reflect their interests and development. Liaise with families and provide support in a friendly manner. Maintaining developmental records as required by the Regulations, EYLF and National Quality Framework. Skills and Qualifications expected from the Group (Room) Leader : A degree or diploma in early childhood education, child development, recreation, or a related field may be required or preferred. Recent minimum of one year of relevant experience working in an Early Learning Centre as a childcare group leader. Ability to identify and address challenges quickly and effectively. Making sound judgments in various situations, including emergencies. Ability to create stimulating and engaging learning environments. Recognizing and responding to individual needs of children. An understanding of the national education and care services regulations 2006, the EYLF and the NQF Benefits : Discounted childcare fee's Be a part of a dynamic and passionate team. 6 Weeks annual leave per year.
