CCI Support is a social support service for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Fibromyalgia, and Long Covid. We provide care, connection, and education to empower people and their families to live with dignity and hope. What You’ll Do Support the facilitator to run group sessions for people with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and Long Covid. Help with planning, preparation, and follow‑up tasks. Assist in creating a safe, inclusive space where members feel supported and heard. Provide encouragement and practical support for self‑care and wellness strategies. Be an empathetic listening ear for individuals facing health challenges. We’re Looking For Someone Who Is based in the Wellington region. Is compassionate, reliable, and enjoys working with people. Has strong communication and organisational skills. Is interested in health, wellness, psychology, or community support (experience helpful, but not essential). Can work independently as well as part of a team. What You’ll Gain A rewarding way to make a difference for people living with complex chronic illnesses. Office open Tuesday to Friday 9am to 2.30pm. Wednesday morning recommended.
