Diagnostic Radiographer Permanent Full‑time/Part‑time role at NSW Health. Employment Type: Permanent Full‑time/Part‑time Position Classification: Radiographer Level 2 Remuneration: $79,087.05 – $108,944.15 per annum plus superannuation Hours per week: 35 Requisition ID: REQ Location: Sutherland Hospital, Caringbah Applications Close Sunday, 16 November 2025 Description The department has a full range of imaging modalities including general, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, angiography, CT, MRI and ultrasound. Successful applicants will be expected to participate in the 24/7 and on call roster. Priority will be given to experienced team members with expertise in hospital imaging and CT scanning however, new graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Perform medical imaging procedures and be responsible for the production and accurate archiving of diagnostic images under the direction of radiologists and department managers. Ensure the safety of patients and provide high quality patient care. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a 24/7 rotating roster with strong and effective communication skills. Work with independent initiative, undertake continuing professional development and maintain competency in all clinical tasks. Selection Criteria Hold a degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent. Hold a NSW EPA Radiation Licence to operate radiation apparatus and registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA. Demonstrated ability and experience to perform radiographic examinations in a wide range of modality areas including general, theatre, mobiles. Willingness to participate in a rotating 24/7 roster and on call as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with experience or knowledge in utilising health related computer applications. Ability to work with a team and independently with the ability to organise workload to facilitate high patient throughput. A knowledge of WHS and radiation protection practices. Proven ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail. Benefits Up to 12 allocated days off each year (full‑time) in addition to annual leave.
