Customer Service Role

We are a family-owned business in the Newcastle area looking for a suitable person to commence with us as a Customer Service Despatch Officer. The successful candidate will be required to learn & perform a variety of tasks & duties such as but not limited to: Daily invoicing of customer orders Serving of customers Process customer payments Checking of finished orders for compliance with customer requirements Constant communication with the Sales, Purchasing & Despatch team on all project matters. Contact customers to advise of completed jobs. Answer overflow phone calls Balance daily til The ideal candidate must possess the following skills; Ability to problem solve Exceptional customer service Ability to multi task This is a part-time role (2 days a week, Thursday & Friday) 7:00am to 3:30pm. These hours may be negotiable. The position is ideally suited to someone who is transitioning to retirement and or has young children requiring part time work only.
