Retrieval Registrars – ACEM & ANZCA 2027 Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia seeks senior registrar candidates for its Jandakot Base (Perth). The base is accredited for special skills training with ACEM and ANZCA, and we are recruiting for: ACEM Registrars for 2027 – approved to meet ACEM rural term requirements ANZCA Registrars for 2027 – approved to meet ANZCA provisional fellowship requirements Overview This role offers an accreditated and non-accredited work period. You will be based in Jandakot with travel to remote locations throughout Western Australia. Responsibilities include assessing patients for retrieval, conducting aeromedical retrievals, and providing telehealth support to patients in remote areas without healthcare infrastructure. Responsibilities Assess patients for retrieval Conduct aeromedical retrieval missions Provide telehealth support to remote patients Manage critically ill and injured patients independently Collaborate in small teams and communicate effectively Requirements AHPRA registration Registered trainee at ACEM or ANZCA Minimum five years postgraduate experience in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics and Acute Paediatrics Procedural skills relevant to critical care medicine Excellent communication and teamwork skills Desirable experience in Obstetrics, Pre-Hospital or Retrieval medicine Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident able to relocate to WA for six months Available to commence in February or August 2027 Benefits Competitive annual salary Salary packaging options – up to $15,900 per annum tax‑free on everyday expenses and $2,650 per annum on meal and entertainment expenses Future opportunities with RFDS Full support via RFDS Doctors 24/7 Full induction and ongoing training How to Apply Please forward your CV and cover letter to . #J-18808-Ljbffr
