MRI Radiographer (Casual) – Prenuvo At Prenuvo, we mission to flip the paradigm from reactive "sick-care" to proactive health care. Our award‑winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionising radiation), and non‑invasive (no contrast). Our integrated stack of hardware, software, and AI provides a patient‑centric experience across our domestic and global clinics. We are looking for MRI Radiographers to join us at our Melbourne clinic located at 505 Toorak Road, Toorak, Melbourne, VIC. This is a casual position. Working hours will be scheduled on an as‑needed basis, primarily to provide coverage when team members are away. Our clinic operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM AEST, though hours may vary depending on location demand and business needs. What You'll Do MRI Operations Perform MRI scans in accordance with clinical protocols and imaging standards. Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during procedures. Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Patient Care Educate patients about the MRI procedure, addressing any concerns or questions. Monitor patients during scans to ensure their well‑being and safety. Data Management Accurately capture and store imaging data, adhering to data protection and confidentiality standards. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with Australian healthcare and radiation safety regulations. Participate in regular equipment testing and quality assurance programmes. Team Collaboration Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on imaging advancements. What You'll Bring Education and Certification Bachelor's or Diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent certification. Certification in MRI technology (preferred but not mandatory if experience is demonstrated). Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI technologist, preferably in a diagnostic or preventative imaging setting. Experience operating advanced MRI systems (experience with Philips equipment is an advantage). Skills Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Knowledge of Australian healthcare compliance standards, accreditation and safety regulations.
