CUB Projects Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our team in Newcastle & Hunter Valley region on a casual with the potential to become permanent basis. In this role, you will operate heavy construction equipment to support our infrastructure projects, playing a vital part in the successful delivery of our work. What you'll be doing Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to complete earthworks, site preparation, and material handling tasks. Interpret site plans and specifications to execute excavation and grading work to required specifications. Perform routine maintenance and pre-operational checks on equipment. Work collaboratively as part of the construction crew to ensure seamless project delivery. Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations on site. What we're looking for Extensive experience (3+ years) operating excavators and other heavy construction equipment. Strong understanding of civil construction techniques and machinery operation. Ability to read and interpret site plans, specifications, and work orders. Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safe work practices and environmental sustainability. Valid driver's licence and Construction Induction Card (or equivalent).
