Production Operator – Somersby Great working environment and diversity focus across all CSR sites. Standard workday: 24/5 roster or continuous 24/7 rotating shifts. About The Roles You will be part of a team of operators responsible for operating machinery to ensure material is produced to the commercial standard, identifying and reporting faults, and working safely. Shift options: • 24/5 – 8‑hour weekday shifts, no weekends or public holidays.• 24/7 – 12‑hour rotating shifts, includes weekends and public holidays. Responsibilities Include Engage the team to ensure delivery of safe, low‑cost, efficient and high‑quality production. Deliver on production KPIs. Ensure appropriate communication and feedback, including technical review and recommendation of machine/site running conditions. Complete routine maintenance tasks (high‑pressure cleaning, removal of waste material from pits, channels and vessels). Maintain high standard of housekeeping (shovelling, sweeping, painting and vacuuming). Test operation of machines periodically & fix issues that might occur during the shift. Maintain activity logs & carry out quality inspections. About You Hands‑on experience in manufacturing environments. Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting. Demonstrated aptitude for problem‑solving. Strong communication abilities, written and verbal. Strong computer skills. Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations, including consistent use of protective equipment. Excellent physical endurance and strength. High school diploma or equivalent; technical education background preferred. Capability to operate a forklift – not essential.
