Overview Coordinator Waste – Liverpool City Council. This role supports the Manager Waste Services to ensure effective and efficient waste services to the community and oversee project delivery on time and within budget. Job Details Permanent Full‑Time position – 35 hours per week, 5 days per week. Salary range $102,853.98 – $112,701.67 per annum plus Leaseback Vehicle and Superannuation (12%). Location: Cowpasture Road Depot, Liverpool. Responsibilities Coordinate Waste team activities efficiently and effectively, including planning, organising, leading, controlling and monitoring all programmes, and managing logistical requirements for works completion. Liaise with contracted activities and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers, holding regular meetings with other Coordinators to achieve corporate goals. Provide input into the team’s budget processes, accurately estimating service, plant and consumable requirements and future unit needs. Create and establish contracts and tenders for goods and services required by the Waste team. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Cleansing, Waste, and/or Environmental Management. Current Class C driver’s licence. Extensive technical experience in the cleansing and waste field. Proficiency in relevant computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project. Experience supervising a multi‑disciplined workforce. Experience in financial administration and budget control. Experience managing expectations of internal and external customers. Experience developing tenders and contracts for Waste and Cleansing.
