Back End Developer - AWS serverless - Node.js Direct message the job poster from Nimo Industries Australian based developers only What we are looking for We are looking for a passionate developer that knows how to work with the latest AWS serverless and AI technologies to help solve our customers' problems. You will be joining a fintech that is continually uplifting its platform for scale and continues to roll out new features. Key responsibilities Writing quality reusable, testable and efficient code for low‑latency, high‑availability and performant applications Maintain and develop features of existing RESTful APIs Ensure the best possible performance and quality of the application Create technical and API documentation using required standards Collaborating with the team in technical design sessions and sprint planning Evaluate and learn new technologies to deliver high quality solutions About you It is expected that the role holder will have the following qualifications and experience: Strong proficiency with Node.js and some React.js (React.js would be a bonus) Job related experience using services such as Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS Job related experience using AWS VPC and Networking Job related experience using NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB Job related experience using SQL databases, preferably MySQL, Aurora Serverless Job related experience using fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Job related experience with Git and CI/CD (GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodeCommit, CodePipeline) Process This recruitment process for this role will include a code test and an in‑person co‑coding session, where we will ensure candidates are able to verify their expertise and the quality of their work.
