Trade Sales Consultant – Join a Growing Sunshine Coast Business Runway Fasteners is a trusted Sunshine Coast supplier of fasteners, hardware, and building supplies – and we're on a mission to become the go-to trade supplier in the region. Under new ownership and scaling fast, we need a Trade Sales Consultant who wants to be part of the journey, not just fill a seat. The Opportunity This is a foundational hire. You'll be the face of Runway Fasteners – serving trade customers at the counter, building relationships with builders and contractors, and helping us establish the systems and service standards that will drive our growth. This isn't a clock-in, clock-out retail gig. We want someone with drive, ideas, and the ambition to grow as we grow. What You'll Do Deliver exceptional service to trade customers – quotes, orders, product advice Build lasting relationships with builders, contractors, and tradies across the Sunshine Coast Process sales and invoicing through our systems (training provided) Contribute ideas to improve how we operate – your input matters here Progress toward external sales as you develop and the business grows What We're Looking For Proven customer service or sales experience (trade/hardware background a plus, not essential) Confident communicator who builds rapport easily Tech-savvy – comfortable learning new systems Self-motivated with initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset Reliable team player who turns up and gets it done Valid driver's licence and ability to work early starts (from 5:30am) Product knowledge can be taught. Attitude and drive can't.
