Senior Network Engineer with AI Experience We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep technical expertise in enterprise networking and a strong understanding of AI‑driven technologies. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing highly secure, scalable, and intelligent network infrastructures that support modern digital and AI initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate combines traditional networking skills with the ability to leverage AI/ML tools for network optimization, predictive analytics, security, and automated incident response. You will work closely with AI/DevOps teams, security engineers, and cloud architects to modernize the network landscape and drive innovation. In our Data Centre Engineers function, we also require experience and knowledge of an enterprise VXLAN‑EVPN multi‑data‑centre environment and orchestration tools such as Cisco Network Dashboards NDFC and the configuration and management of AI network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, cloud networking, etc.) with integrated AI capabilities. Implement AI‑powered network monitoring and performance tools to predict and prevent outages, improve capacity planning, and optimize traffic flow. Integrate AI/ML models for anomaly detection, automated troubleshooting, and intelligent alerting. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to deploy AI‑based threat detection and automated response systems. Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, runbooks, and design standards. Lead network architecture reviews and future‑state planning with a focus on resilience and intelligent automation. Support cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure initiatives with intelligent routing and secure connectivity. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing across the team. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in network engineering roles in complex enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.). Experience with SDN (e.g., Cisco ACI, VMware NSX) and SD‑WAN technologies. Hands‑on experience with AI/ML in a networking context (e.g., predictive analytics, intelligent monitoring tools). Familiarity with tools such as Cisco DNA Center, Juniper Mist AI, Aruba Central, or equivalent. Scripting experience (Python preferred) for automation and AI model integration. Preferred Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent. Experience with cloud‑native networking and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible). Exposure to AIOps platforms and tools. Understanding of data pipelines and integration with AI engines. Soft Skills Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities.
