Job Description Position Overview Join our leading team in the mining sector as a Road Train Operator, where your expertise behind the wheel keeps operations moving. We’re looking for reliable and experienced operators to safely haul bulk materials across mine sites and remote routes using triple and quad road trains. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the production process—transporting ore and other materials between pits, plants, and stockpiles. You’ll be responsible for conducting daily pre-start checks, maintaining your vehicle to a high standard, and ensuring each load is delivered safely and on time. Machines 18 speed road rangers & automatics (Kenworth and Mack Trucks) Side tippers – triple or quad combinations CAT980-988 or WA500-600 Front-end loaders Key Responsibilities Safely operate road trains, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Load and unload materials, using a front-end loader. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery times. Follow company policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance and safety. Skills/Qualifications Current & Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements. Commercial Drivers Fatigue Management Certificate (validity within 2 years) National Police Clearance Proven experience as a Road Train Operator – carting triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader. Experience operating in an on-road and off-road environment. Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. $5 per hour site bonus, paid fortnightly. Super on ALL hours worked. Flights covered from capital cities within Australia.
