About the Role: Mackay Gymnastics is seeking an experienced and motivated WAG Program Manager / Head Coach to lead and oversee our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics program. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can manage the coaching team, coordinate program operations, and drive athlete development across all levels. Key Responsibilities Program & Operations Management: develop and manage weekly class schedules and rotations, holiday training schedules and competition calendars; oversee competition nominations, travel logistics and expenses; oversee talent spotting and ensure progression pathways are clear; assist with event planning (competitions, awards nights, in‑house events) and uniform requirements for development, team, and coach apparel. Coaching & Athlete Development: lead, mentor, and support the WAG coaching team through scheduling, rostering and professional development; manage WAG athletes’ development and movement between groups and overall squad structure; design and oversee lesson planning, PAD and testing schedules, maintain high coaching standards; conduct parent meetings, handle parent communication and complaints; ensure a positive and engaging training environment for all athletes. Leadership & Administration: provide clear direction and support to coaches to maintain consistent delivery across all levels; work collaboratively with management to ensure alignment of goals and expectations; promote the club’s values and culture through strong communication, professionalism, and leadership; have an eye on the financial viability of each class and competition and adjust classes and programs if required. Qualifications & Experience Advanced Accreditation in WAG (Advanced Silver preferred). Proven experience managing a competitive WAG program. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Current First Aid, CPR, Working with Children Check, and Technical Membership with Gymnastics Australia. Why Join Us Supportive and professional coaching environment.
