Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team at Macquarie College Pre-School in Elermore Vale, NSW. This full‑time role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and contribute to the growth and development of our "exceeding" rated early learning centre. There are also opportunities for part‑time roles for the right applicants. What you'll be doing Developing and implementing engaging, age‑appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework. Fostering a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Observing and assessing children’s progress, and using this information to tailor your teaching approach. Building strong partnerships with parents and families to ensure a collaborative approach to children’s learning and wellbeing. Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching practice. Adhering to all relevant early childhood education regulations and guidelines. What we’re looking for A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Early Childhood Educator within an early childhood service. An approved Diploma in Children’s Services qualification as identified by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority. A Diploma is the minimum acceptable qualification for this position. Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training. All First Aid components including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management must be current at the time of application. Ability to build relationships with children, families and staff. Experience programming for 3‑5 year‑old children. Commitment to ongoing professional development. A commitment to our Christian service philosophy. Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices. You will be required to work a range of shifts (8hrs). Regular attendance at out‑of‑hours monthly staff meetings is compulsory. Attendance at some of our out‑of‑hours events that support our campus and our community. Our service is open from 7.30am – 5.30pm for 48 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays.
