Gardening & Grounds Maintenance Caretaker- Stockland Halcyon Join us as our Facilities Caretaker, at our first brand new community, in NSW, Stockland Halcyon The Gables, located in Box Hill, Sydney's Northwest. About the role As our Facilities Caretaker, you’ll not only manage the upkeep of beautiful gardens, ground and facilities, you’ll also build genuine connections with homeowners and contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll be part of a wider network of caretakers across our Stockland Halcyon communities, sharing knowledge and support. Permanent full time, Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm Maintain and enhance gardens, ground and recreational facilities, ensuring they are looking their best Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with safety Building relationships with homeowners and other staff members Actively participate in caretaker meetings and complete relevant reporting Manage community security and operational budgets About you You’re hands on and enjoy outdoor work You may have studied horticulture or landscaping – or just have a natural green thumb Background in community-focused environments like hotel/resorts, retirement living, schools, parks with experience in gardening, general maintenance and amenity cleaning Confident communicator who naturally enjoys engaging with people ACDC licence for weed spraying (or willing to obtain) Basic competent computer skills and current First Aid certificate (refresher will be arranged if required) Full drivers licence and own transport, to/from work (work ute available during the day) The Stockland Proposition Stockland Halcyon is Australia’s most awarded creator of lifestyle living communities across Southeast Queensland, Victoria, NSW and WA.
