We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Fitter or a Boilermaker with Fitter experience to join our team in Mareeba. Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to): The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and has direct working relationships with Site Manager, other Supervisors and Leading Hands. The holder of this position is also responsible for carrying out the work in accordance with Baiada standards and requirements as applicable. The position is primarily responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance to the plant machinery and ensuring that all work they perform is carried out in a safe manner following Baiada standards and systems. Required Skills (Must-haves): Maintenance Fitter Experience Previous experience in production processes and equipment (highly desirable but not mandatory) Ability to give instruction when required Ability to work within a team High level planning and organisational skills Ability to drive continuous improvement and preventative maintenance Ability to complete own work with limited supervision Note: Due to our strict biosecurity requirements, you must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at home and be willing to maintain our quarantine policy and procedures.
