Position Profile: As a Clinical Psychologist Registrar (HSO Grade 1) you will be provided with weekly clinical supervision, professional support and access to Registrar Development, Support and Supervision group within the Department to assist you to achieve your competencies and progress to full registration as a psychologist with area of practice endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. As a Clinical Psychologist (HSO Grade 2) you will provide clinical supervision to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Trainees, as well as having access to your own clinical supervision within the Department. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology and the Senior Clinical Psychology Coordinator, you will deliver direct psychological services including comprehensive assessments, formulation, and psychotherapeutic interventions for patients with complex health, psychological and mental health difficulties. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, working within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care alongside medical, nursing, and allied health professionals. You will plan, implement, and evaluate psychological care, ensuring all practices align with AHPRA standards, WA Health Code of Conduct, and departmental values and guidelines. About our Department: We are a dedicated and dynamic team of Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG), providing inpatient and outpatient specialised psychological services tailored to needs of the individual patient and their family/carers. Working within a multidisciplinary team, we offer comprehensive assessments, formulations and interventions for children, adults, and older adults with complex medical, chronic health, cognitive, rehabilitation and mental health needs.
