breadsolutions is a leading artisan sourdough manufacturer based in Melbourne, supplying premium frozen bakery products to major Australian retailers including Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, and Costco. Operating from our Mills Road and Quality Drive facilities, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure product quality and adherence to the breadsolutions Food Safety Program (BSFSP). This critical role involves monitoring and testing compliance with defined standards, promptly reporting non‑compliance, and overseeing the safety of co‑workers across our production facilities. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Technical & Compliance Manager and will assume an acting T&CM role when required. Key Responsibilities Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP hygiene standards as specified in the BSFSP Monitor quality assessments for all products to ensure compliance with factory specifications Conduct shift audits of site compliance with BSFSP GMP requirements Manage food safety and take immediate action in cases of non‑conformance, including stopping production or quarantining finished goods when necessary Oversee the collection, recording and storage of retention samples Support implementation of QA policies through monitoring and reporting Manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs), ensuring prioritisation and timely closure Communicate effectively with production teams to address QC issues Lead, coach and develop QA Coordinators in delivery of the BSFSP Compose and deliver training across all elements of the food safety program Assist in company and customer audits as required Qualifications Formal qualifications in Food Safety, Food Science or Food Engineering Minimum 5 years QA management experience Extensive working knowledge of food quality and safety systems and standards People management experience, particularly in managing QC, QA and hygiene teams in a food production environment Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities Collaborative and commercial approach Excellent communication and coaching skills What We Offer Opportunity to work with a leading artisan bakery manufacturer Supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
