Occupational Therapist (Part-time) – Western Autistic School Western Autistic School is looking for a part‑time Occupational Therapist to join their team of eight therapists based in Laverton. The campus is conveniently located near the freeway for easy access. This role offers a safe, supportive environment to develop you professional skills without the pressure of parents observing, with ongoing mentoring and professional learning opportunities. Responsibilities Develop your skills in working with autistic students, supporting a range of communication and cognitive profiles. Engage students in a wide variety of occupations throughout the day. Provide consultancy support to classroom teachers to help students achieve their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, including working directly with students 1:1 or in small groups. Deliver professional learning to staff regarding regulation, sensory processing, self‑care skills, and motor skills. Participate in weekly Professional Learning Communities and in‑house workshops. Benefits & Conditions Salary: $73,000 – $89,000 (pro‑rata) 50 days of paid leave per year (no work during school holidays). External professional development budget per therapist.No billing pressures to meet. Ongoing mentoring and supervision.
