Salary: AHP3 $108,347.00- $116,216.00p.a(pro-rata) including Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits + 10% Attraction & Retention Bonus North Adelaide SA, 5006 - Women's and Children's Hospital Part Time or Full Time Permanent Roles available About the role Working with a high level of professional independence, the incumbent will perform innovative, novel and crucial medical imaging diagnostic services in ultrasound to established professional standards. The incumbent continues to obtain specialist knowledge, contributes to developing professional knowledge of other radiographers and sonographers, and to professional standards. Supervision, education and training of junior sonographers and radiographers to ensure high imaging standards and participation in departmental CPD programs. The incumbent contributes to approved research programs, under professional direction, and departmental quality assurance programs. With strong clinical capability, professional leadership qualities and a collaborative approach, you excel in both independent and multidisciplinary settings. You bring advanced ultrasound expertise, sound clinical judgement, and a commitment to continuously enhancing service quality and supporting the development of others. Qualifications & Clinical Expertise Accredited with ASAR and holding a postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound, with proven capability to perform a wide range of standard and complex ultrasound procedures. Technical & Professional Proficiency Demonstrated specialist knowledge in ultrasound techniques, RIS/PACS systems, and the ability to apply and adapt scanning methods to suit varied and complex clinical presentations. Communication & Patient-Centred Care Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff and multidisciplinary colleagues while maintaining a consumer-focused approach. Leadership & Continuous Improvement Ability to use initiative, provide professional direction and contribute to staff development, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and drive excellence in medical imaging practice.
