With luxurious common areas including lounge and bar, library for those needing a space to work and a state-of-the-art gym by Technogym. About the role: Our Little National Hotels are all about the little details making a big impact on our guest experiences. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for creating little moments for guests that will keep them coming back for more. We are seeking a warm and welcoming personality, a passion and the ability to create surprising and memorable experiences and share great local knowledge of Newcastle to assist our guests. As part of the team, you will Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements and provide information and assistance to our guests and visitor. What you will bring: We constantly strive to find exceptional individuals who contribute to our team’s success Your natural flare exudes passion and ambition. A guest service expert, with a keen eye for detail. Naturally, your previous years within a luxury hospitality setting, will come highly regarded. As will the following: Ability to manage time, with attention to detail; prioritise/organise and follow-up, with speed and accuracy Minimum two years' experience as a receptionist or in a supervisory role within a luxury hospitality setting A clear thinker with solid judgement, who remains calm when resolving problems, (should they arise) as you really listen and understand guest's service needs A true Team player who works cohesively with co-workers and under minimal supervision that maintains the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data Excellent personal presentation and presence with the willingness and ability to exceed expectations Ability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays Understanding of IT applications: Opera PMS, Micros and Microsoft Why you want to join our Team: At Doma Hotels our mission is to look after our people, who in turn, look after our guests.
