Overview Medico Legal Admin Officer - Calvary Kogarah is a permanent part-time (30 hours per week) administrative role providing medico-legal support to ensure smooth operations and contribute to compassionate patient care. The role involves processing requests for the release of information (ROI) contained in a person’s clinical record. It includes conducting complex records and filing audits, providing information management training, and performing data analyses and reporting. Responsibilities Provide a range of administrative services related to the Release of Information in accordance with various legislative instruments, ensuring information adheres to Calvary and NSW Health policies. Register requests on the confidential database and retrieve relevant documentation from hospital EMR information systems to comply with the request/subpoena. Draft accurate and concise reports, documents and correspondence, including preparation of complex correspondence in line with Calvary and NSW Health policies and procedures. About You / Qualifications Previous experience working in a public hospital environment. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a team environment.
