About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a Firmware / Embedded Engineer to join a team in the medical technology industry , working on innovative solutions. You will be responsible for developing embedded software for advanced healthcare devices, ensuring reliability, compliance, and seamless integration with hardware systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for medical-grade devices. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with electro-mechanical systems. Implement communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and optimize performance for low-power devices. Conduct debugging, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Support product development from concept through to production, including documentation and risk analysis. About You Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering. 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development. Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS). Experience with hardware interfaces, sensors, and actuators. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a regulated environment. Highly Regarded Experience in medical device development or other regulated industries. Knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other wireless communication protocols. Familiarity with ISO 13485 or IEC 60601 standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
