Retail Operations Manager Downer Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia Downer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of nine high‑volume retail food outlets within Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This key leadership role ensures seamless delivery of retail food services, maintains compliance with healthcare standards, and drives commercial success. What You’ll Do Oversee day‑to‑day operations of nine retail food outlets, including three franchise brands, ensuring compliance and service excellence. Drive operational standards through regular site inspections, SOP implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and develop outlet managers and team leaders, fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and wellbeing. Manage financial performance, including P&L accountability, labour management, and KPI reporting to senior leadership. Champion customer experience and brand integrity through marketing initiatives, local engagement, and feedback loops. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in multi‑site retail or hospitality management (healthcare experience desirable). Strong financial acumen with expertise in managing budgets, labour costs, and commercial KPIs. Ability to lead diverse teams in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment. Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach. Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and flexibility to work on‑site full time.
