Trade and Investment Queensland: Life | LinkedIn The opportunity and your impact As our highly valued Senior Project Officer, you will contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress. Reporting to the Manager HIT and MCS, you will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the team to deliver events, activities and help the team achieve and report on trade and investment outcomes. Based in Brisbane, here’s what your role will involve: Contribute and participate in export and investment events, key meetings and projects that lead to successful outcomes for TIQ clients, including planning, delivering and reporting. Work collaboratively with TIQ’s international stakeholder, regional network and international workforce to achieve outcomes and contribute to TIQ’s yearly planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide project management and support services to the team including facilitating grant applications, reporting and maintaining records in TIQ’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Undertake research and maintain an interest in new and emerging industries and trends and capability within Queensland businesses. Prepare and provide accurate and timely correspondence, reports, briefings, submissions and other documentation as required. Develop and foster effective relationships with key stakeholders across local, state and federal agencies and industry associations to nurture industry and market development opportunities. How you’ll shape the future Ability to develop, manage and maintain stakeholder relationship and engaging with new and emerging sectors. Ability to undertake research activities on new and emerging sectors that support trade and investment outcomes. Demonstrated ability to coordinate, support and deliver projects that leads to successful outcomes, including planning, delivery and reporting. High level time management and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to operate in a high-pressured environment with competing priorities.
