Responsibilities A leadership role that balances a local external environment with a multinational/global internal working environment to drive growth in mature markets Lead an organization covering Account management, Marketing and Technical areas Foster close working relationships with Operations, HR, Finance, Pricing, PSRA at the country/sub-regional level and with Regional/Global Functions including Regional Innovation Operate in a high-energy role requiring local execution while driving global business in the local context The Role Mandate Overarching Goal: Turn around the Oceania business and deliver profitable growth, building organizational capabilities for the 2025 ambition and beyond Translate strategy into execution and annual operating plans Manage the sub-regional P&L and achieve sales, expense and profitability targets through regional collaboration with operations as applicable Develop senior-level relationships with key customers and lead multi-level engagements Lead development and execution of the sub-regional growth strategy including business development, partnerships, technology platforms, and Integrated Solutions Build and develop a high-performing team and drive talent and succession planning for the sub-region Develop positive working relationships with regional teams and stakeholders Communicate, inspire, motivate and engage the team while achieving growth objectives in alignment with Givaudan culture and DNA Critical priorities Deliver annual targets aligned to the 2025 strategy and gain market share Expand partnerships with stakeholders like Operations and address short- and medium-term priorities Coach the Commercial organization to use knowledge to develop frameworks for selling beyond technical capabilities Lead 2030 Strategy development and prepare the organization for its execution Mentor and coach the team, maintaining engagement and morale Develop talent and succession plans with robust development and stretch assignments, including opportunities beyond the sub-region Strengthen relationships with Regional teams to provide solutions that support ambitious growth targets What we are seeking to assess Ability to build and deliver a coherent strategy, objectives and plans with accountability for results Proven leadership and a strong track record in the flavors industry Capability to take the organization to the next level with emotional connectivity and inspiration High achiever mindset, resilience and commitment to talent development Demonstrated achievements in driving results and creating organizational value Strong business acumen with ability to translate P&L levers into KPIs Customer champion with credibility to partner and provide innovative solutions Partnership with operations to drive cost, service and safety excellence Strong role model who embodies the DNA; international and culturally diverse mindset Effective communication and influence skills; eager learner and self-aware Driven by passion and curiosity; non-hierarchical approach Additional context At Givaudan, you contribute to experiences that touch people’s lives.
