Therapy with a View: Work in the Kimberley Far North Community Services is the largest registered NDIS provider in the iconic Kimberley. We’re a not-for-profit organisation proudly based in this stunning region. We deliver high-quality, culturally aware, and meaningful therapy that makes a real difference in people’s lives. We’re seeking enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our teams in Broome and Kununurra, helping participants, families, and communities develop skills, independence, and confidence. Life in the Kimberley The Kimberley is one of the most breathtaking regions in the world– trade routine for something remarkable Cool off in quiet ocean waters, watch the sun set over wide-open beaches, and discover rivers, rock formations and country that make the Kimberley one of the most unique regions in the world. From camping and fishing trips to endless adventure, you’ll never run out of places to explore. The Role Here, your work goes beyond therapy; you’ll help participants, families, and communities build strengths, independence, and connection. Work alongside a passionate, transdisciplinary team of therapists throughout the Kimberley. While we have well-equipped facilities, most of our therapy happens in participants’ homes or remote communities. You’ll have access to professional 4WD training to confidently navigate dirt roads and river crossings and chartered flights to reach some of the most pristine and remote communities in Australia. You’ll have the chance to work with children and adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, supporting a wide range of disabilities and helping people engage more fully with their communities. Positions Available: Physio Therapist (Broome) What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy Current APHRA membership (full registration) Therapists at all levels encouraged to apply Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, willingness to learn and grow Strong oral and written communication Willing to obtain NDIS Work's Clearance Current Australian Driver’s Licence Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid Certificate including CPR Benefits Relocation allowance Housing allowance and assistance to secure accommodation Above Award salary, work mobile phone and IT resources provided Uniforms provided, Professional development allowance plus study leave Travel allowance, Salary sacrificing to boost take-home pay Generous professional development allowance and supportive supervision Use of company pool car for work purposes Supportive transdisciplinary therapy team environment Travel opportunities to some of the most pristine areas of Australia Please note: Only applicants currently based in Australia will be considered.
