Bakers Bakers Delight is Australia's largest franchise bakery. We are Australia‑owned and provide our customers with quality, a range of products, and value. Our bakery locations are Bakers Delight Edgeworth and Bakers Delight Cardiff, located in Cardiff NSW and Edgeworth NSW. Full‑time position – approximately 38 hours per week. Pay: $75,000 – $80,000 per year. Availability required for a flexible roster, which may include shifts from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role also requires work across the seven days of the week, including evening work and some public holidays. Key Responsibilities Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight specification; training will be provided for BDH recipe. Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough. Mixing, scaling and dividing dough as required. Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods. Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products. Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings. Maintaining cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abiding by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors. Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times. Selection Criteria Ability to work across the seven days of the week, which may include early morning starts as early as 4 AM. Experience working in a fast‑paced team environment and ability to communicate with customers and staff. Capability to train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department. Applicants with a minimum of one year’s experience and/or a Certificate III in Baking are preferred. Benefits Employee discount. Professional development assistance. Salary packaging.
