It is a role rostering/operations use to fill shifts each week where they may have a vacancy, short term sick leave or planned annual leave. It is different to a casual role in the respect you are on the permanent staff and paid as a full time employee whether you fill all of your shift quota of 5 days or not. This does require a fair bit of flexibility and commitment to being available as you would be paid for each day. About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. To be successful in this role you’ll have: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration. Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent). Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
