Combined office and site role Based in Newcastle, sites include RAAF Williamtown and Singleton Exposure to the full life cycle of projects THE ROLE Be responsible for assisting the project team in all day-to-day operations and running of building and infrastructure projects. As a Graduate Engineer, you will be mentored and supported in the following: Onsite project management, including planning, resource allocation, site administration and client invoicing Prepare and submit progress claims Handover and Takeover process in Defence projects Job costing where required for works Programming and scheduling works Onsite supplier and sub-contractor management Quantity take offs Prepare tender submissions Onsite Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities associated with project works Bid writing & Estimating Responsibilities Provide support to various project handovers Coordinate project meetings, data entry, minute-taking, and support with compilation of management reports Provide reporting assistance by collating reports from various systems, tracking of project reports and upcoming deadlines Liaise with key stakeholders including Client, subcontractors and vendors / suppliers to meet submission deadlines ABOUT YOU Recent Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management Able to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines Have sound verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop positive stakeholder relationships Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think ‘outside the box’ THE BENEFITS Opportunity to thrive, develop and grow in a supportive environment Ongoing rewards & recognition programs Company paid parental leave Employee referral programs up to $2000 Weekly pay cycle Salary sacrifice options Employee Assistance Program Novated lease options Discounted health and wellbeing services First Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers available Please submit your resume today and one of our friendly recruiters will be in touch with next steps.
