About the role We are seeking a proactive and driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our MTC Recruitment team based in Parramatta. Reporting to the Permanent Team Leader , the position will focus on permanent placement across both blue-collar and white-collar sectors. In this role, your primary focus will be on business development – making sales calls, attending client meetings, and actively generating new job opportunities to fill. You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client engagement through to successful placement, ensuring a high level of service and outcomes for both clients and candidates. You will have access to an extensive list of lapsed clients, a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will generate business for you and an incumbent who can guide you. You'll be responsible for recruitment across a broad geographic area - covering regions east of Homebush and Bankstown in Sydney, as well as opportunities to recruit nationally. Strong communication and negotiation skills. High attention to detail. Results-driven mindset with a resilient, can-do attitude.
