Engineering Team Lead – Plenti Plenti is a fintech lender providing faster, fairer loans by leveraging smart technology. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and empower a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner closely with Product Managers to assess upcoming work, break down high‑level requirements into a well‑defined, deliverable backlog, and guide the team’s execution. Provide hands‑on technical guidance, driving the design and implementation of solutions within our event‑driven, microservices architecture. Manage day‑to‑day workflow, assigning tasks and making final decisions to align with project goals and technical priorities. Uphold and enforce exceptional coding standards, best practices, and a test‑driven development mindset to maintain and enhance product quality. Own and manage the incident response process for the team, ensuring issues are delegated and resolved efficiently to minimize impact. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices. Qualifications 8+ years of professional software development experience, with extensive hands‑on expertise in .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+). Demonstrated experience leading an engineering team and managing complex technical projects from conception to delivery. Strong understanding of event‑driven architectures, microservices patterns, and Domain‑Driven Design principles. Deep commitment to software quality, with proven experience establishing and enforcing high coding standards and a test‑driven approach. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Business‑oriented mindset, translating technical complexities into clear business value and outcomes. Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills, managing team workload and focus effectively.
